I grew up in Colorado. My parents taught me to work hard and set lofty goals. They taught me to love the sense of adventure and the opportunities that are unique to Colorado. .

I live in Berthoud with four of my five children and my husband Jay. Jay's an engineer and Naval Reservist and I'm a small business owner, but my family is the reason I first became active in my community as a school volunteer. I've served my family, and my community on the Berthoud Planning and Zoning Board. I also served on the Thompson R2J School Board as treasurer. I believe that public service is an important way to give back to our communities.

Over the years I've listened to my friends and neighbors, and I’ve learned that the big problems we face together can usually be solved right here in our small communities. I believe that our representatives should be listening and putting your good ideas to use in county government. I know that opportunity is still alive in Northern Colorado, and I believe that together, we can build the Colorado our families dream of, work for, and deserve.
